In the best interest of community health and safety the "How to Eat Well on $4 a Day" class has been cancelled for the time being but may be rescheduled at a future date. In the meantime we encourage you to check out the cookbook, Good and Cheap by Leanne Brown which Nadine Nelson recommends in her class for tasty, affordable meal ideas. Find a FREE PDF version of Good and Cheap on Leanne Brown's website here.

Join Nadine Nelson for a FREE interactive food demo engaging in cooking dishes that are good, cheap, and healthy. Learn how to menu plan and get concrete suggestions to be more inventive in the kitchen while getting motivated into food activism. We will view and discuss excerpts from the documentary Food Stamped, and we’ll use recipes featured in the cookbook Good and Cheap by Leanne Brown. Workshop is free, tasting and recipes included.

Nadine Nelson is a career educator, chef, artist, activist and owner of Global Local Gourmet. Her cooking classes, culinary and farm tours, wellness workshops, food art activations and immersive epicurean events are legendary for their social sculpture and collaborative human engagement.
