Provider Farm is located at the historic Woodbridge Farm property in Salem, Connecticut. Max and Kerry Taylor have over 10 years combined experience growing a wide variety of vegetables and fruits chemical-free on 14 beautiful acres of healthy, happy soil using biodynamic agricultural practices. In addition to their CSA which provides 150 varieties of vegetables, they also raise heirloom cattle on 20 acres of biodynamically managed pasture. |
Shundahai is a small family farm of five acres, located one mile from University of Connecticut and started in 2009. They grow over 30 different vegetable crops for their CSA. The farm name means: “Peace and Harmony with all Creation” in Shoshone, and it captures the spirit in which we farm and live. Shundahai's goal is soil health and fertility, and overall environmental health. Every year, they sign the Connecticut NOFA (Northeast Organic Farmers Association) Pledge. |
